About This Product

TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT is formulated for air travel — whether it's a short domestic flight or a long-haul journey. For best results, mix one sachet with water before boarding or within the first hour of your flight to support hydration through the dry cabin environment. Rather than positioning itself as a sports product, it is designed for travellers dealing with dry cabin air, cabin pressure changes, and time spent seated. The formula includes magnesium and potassium alongside a travel-friendly powder format that is easy to carry and mix during your trip.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is TRAVELYTES™?

TRAVELYTES™ is a specialist UK health and wellness brand that engineers targeted travel electrolyte hydration supplements. Unlike traditional sports nutrition brands, TRAVELYTES™ products are tailored for the specific environmental stresses of transit, including low cabin humidity, varying altitudes and long journeys.

Is TRAVELYTES™ a luggage or travel bag company?

No. TRAVELYTES™ operates entirely within the wellness and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector. The company does not manufacture physical suitcases, backpacks or luggage accessories, and is unrelated to any similarly named luggage brand.

Why do travellers need specialised hydration instead of standard sports drinks?

Standard sports drinks are designed for high-perspiration athletic recovery. TRAVELYTES™ targets stagnant air fluid loss, altitude-induced dehydration and changing time-zone fatigue by blending precise electrolyte ratios with targeted vitamins to support circulatory efficiency and cellular water absorption without high sugar levels.

What is TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT?

TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT is a caffeine-free hydration drink mix stick pack optimised for air cabin conditions. It features a balanced electrolyte profile and specific B-vitamins to support circadian rhythm adjustment during flights, making it suitable for travellers who plan to rest or sleep during travel.

Can I take TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT every day, or only when flying?

Yes, TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT is safe for daily use. It is caffeine-free with balanced electrolytes and B-vitamins at sensible daily levels, so many travellers use one to two sticks a day in the run-up to a trip to arrive well-hydrated, then continue through the flight and destination stay.

How many TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT can I take per day?

One to two servings per day of the same product — two single servings is fine; do not mix different TRAVELYTES™ products on the same day. For example, one before departure and one halfway through the flight.

What is actually in TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT — any artificial sweeteners or sugar?

TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT contains sodium, potassium and magnesium electrolytes, B-vitamins and natural coconut flavour. There is no added sugar, no aspartame and no artificial colours. Sweetness comes from a small amount of stevia, keeping each stick low-calorie and cabin-friendly.

How do I mix a TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT stick — how much water should I use?

Tear the stick and pour the powder into 500–750 ml of still water, then stir or shake briefly until dissolved. The drink has a rich flavour and appears cloudy when mixed; this is normal. Cabin crew will refill a bottle or cup on request. Avoid mixing into hot drinks, sparkling water or alcohol, which can affect taste and dissolution.

How do I stay hydrated and reduce flight tiredness on a long flight?

Cabin air is extremely dry, which accelerates dehydration and worsens flight tiredness. Drink one stick of TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT or MAX every 4 hours in the air. It replenishes travel-specific electrolytes without the heavy sugars found in sports drinks, supporting arrival alertness.

Can I just use standard sports electrolytes for travel dehydration?

Sports drinks are formulated for high-sweat athletic recovery and contain excessive sugar and salt. TRAVELYTES™ is engineered for travel, balancing fluid retention and energy levels during prolonged sitting in pressurised, low-humidity cabins without causing bloating.

Can I take TRAVELYTES™ electrolyte sticks through airport security?

Yes. TRAVELYTES™ sticks are individual powder sachets, not liquids or gels, so they are not subject to the 100ml liquids rule. You can carry them in hand luggage through UK, EU and US (TSA) airport security without restriction.

Why does my TRAVELYTES™ drink look cloudy when mixed?

TRAVELYTES™ products may appear cloudy when mixed with water. This is completely normal and accompanies their rich flavour.

Does dehydration on long journeys affect DVT risk?

The NHS lists journeys of 3 hours or more — by plane, train, car or coach — as a situation where the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is raised, and advises travellers to drink plenty of water, avoid drinking a lot of alcohol and move around regularly. TRAVELYTES™ is a food supplement that supports normal hydration; it does not prevent DVT.

What should I do on a long journey to follow official DVT advice?

NHS advice is to drink plenty of water, avoid a lot of alcohol, wear loose clothing, walk around when you can and flex your ankles while seated. Compression stockings may be suggested for some travellers. A TRAVELYTES™ stick in 500–750 ml of water is a simple way to keep drinking through the journey. If you have had a blood clot before, speak to your GP before travelling.

How to mix and take TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT on a flight

Step-by-step instructions for preparing TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT to support hydration during air travel.

Take any bottle or cup of still water

Use 500–750 ml of cold or room-temperature still water — a shop-bought bottle, a bottle from the crew, a hotel bottle or your own reusable one. Avoid sparkling water, hot drinks or alcohol.

Tear open one FLIGHT stick

Tear the stick pack along the notch and pour the full contents of one stick into the water. Each stick is a single serve.

Stir or shake until dissolved

Stir with a spoon or seal the bottle and shake for a few seconds until the powder has fully dissolved. Once mixed, the drink has a rich flavour and appears cloudy; this is normal.

Take one before or after take-off

Drink one serving before or shortly after take-off to help offset the dehydrating effects of dry cabin air.

Take another halfway through the flight if needed

On longer journeys, take a second stick halfway through the flight. One stick every 4–6 hours in the air supports arrival alertness. You can take one to two FLIGHT sticks per day — two single servings of the same product is fine; do not mix different TRAVELYTES™ products on the same day.

WHY TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT

Built for the cabin. One 4g stick per flight.

  • 01WHY TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT

Cabin air is drier than a desert

Aircraft humidity typically sits below 20%. FLIGHT replaces the electrolytes you lose on every sector, short-haul or long-haul.

  • 02WHY TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT

You drink less than you think

Trolley service, sleep and seatbelt signs all cut your fluid intake. One stick in any bottle of water makes each drink count.

  • 03WHY TRAVELYTES™ FLIGHT

    Sugar-free, no crash

No added sugar and no sticky syrup — just the electrolytes and light flavour that make water easier to keep drinking.
